Main Purpose of Job Leading this important investor client contract, as Account Director for Asset Management you will be: Leading service delivery through changing landscape of building safety & leasehold/freehold reforms. Championing the client and leading the delivery of exceptional management information to support asset governance and value enhancement. Providing a strong understanding of the property sector and client objectives with the ability to communicate with credibility at all levels. Providing inspirational leadership and vision to provide solutions that leverages all elements of the Group's infrastructure and systems. Becoming the face of the business for the investor/fund manager. Delivering service improvement through plans and targets agreed with the client. Position in Organisation This role reports to the Director of Asset Management. The role has up to 5 direct reports and 35-40 indirect reports. Main Responsibilities Ensure the Fund meets all its statutory obligations – focusing on implementing any new H&S, Building Safety & Leasehold Reforms. Maintain strict financial control across income, expenditure, service charge management and any building safety grant funding obligations. Ensure high quality data management and subsequent reporting out to the Fund. Lead the Asset Management operations, maximising client and company returns from existing and new activities. Manage this key client relationship, proactively developing our service to address the evolving needs of investor landlords. Network internally to develop a full range of back and front-office solutions, leveraging our scale and expertise. Provide inspirational leadership in a complex division, creating a culture of professionalism and passion for asset management. Create an action led, target based approach to asset management incorporating a project management philosophy. Develop a strategic approach within the asset management leadership team through strong coaching and mentoring support. Deliver targets for growth, efficiencies, asset enhancement, customer service and other KPIs in line with strategy. Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent Preferably TPI/RICS qualified with 10 years’ experience of working with ground rent/ residential portfolios. Experience Experience of managing mixed-use and complex residential portfolios essential Demonstrable experience of being accountable for delivery of the vision, strategy and objectives across a property freeholder/investor facing service. Enjoys the buzz of working in a high-pressure, results-driven environment with the need to meet multiple deadlines and juggle priorities. Confident, open and articulate communicator both orally and in writing; with exceptional relationship building skills. Strong customer and employee focus with the ability to utilise data insights and industry intelligence to drive performance improvement and capability. Results orientated and is able to deliver against action led projects and targets. Technical Skills Good knowledge of supporting clients in relation to operational and building safety in Multi-storey, Multi-occupied Residential Buildings.
