The Trauma and Orthopaedic department is looking for a highly motivated, proactive Patient Pathway RTT Tracker to join our team and provide excellent service to both the Trauma and Orthopaedic clinical team and BHRUT service users. The successful candidate will have experience of tracking, validating patient pathways and an understanding of the importance of patient care, work well within a team and have experience of working in a caring profession.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Referral to Treatment Target, working closely with a number of key stakeholders including the Outpatients Service Manager, Booking and Scheduling Team and the Operational Management teams.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking appropriate tracking to ensure that the Referral to Treatment Time is accurately recorded and next action has been booked to avoid delays in treatment.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring that any potential breaches are escalated for 'fast tracked' through the system.

Education/ Qualifications
* Competence in the use of various computer software packages
Experience/ Knowledge
* A good understanding of the RTT codes and processes
* Evidence of a positive approach to working in complex environments
Skills/ Abilities
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* A thorough understanding of Patient Administration System

£31,081 to £33,665 a year per annum inclusive (pro rata)
