Job Overview
The role will involve working both within the Pharmacy and across the Hospital. Duties will include the receipt, checking, and booking-in of medicines, stock control, and the timely delivery of medicines to wards and clinics.
No previous experience in Pharmacy is required as full in-house training will be given. The successful applicant will be able to complete a Level 2 Stock Management course. We are looking for applicants who are eager to learn, able to organise and prioritise their own work to meet deadlines, and able to work using their own initiative.
Main Duties of the Job
An opportunity has arisen to join our Portering team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with attention to detail to join our friendly department.
The role involves the receipt of medicines into the department and their distribution around the hospital to ensure they are available on wards and clinics.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English (A-C Grade)
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy services
Knowledge and Experience
* Worked in another hospital, retail Pharmacy, or logistics environment
