Location: Corsham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
We are working with a prestigious client in the Corsham area, seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join their team at a high-security site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and has a strong background in fleet management, compliance, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including MOTs, servicing, and licensing.
2. Ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency of the fleet.
3. Liaise with internal departments to coordinate vehicle allocations, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
4. Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
5. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain the highest security standards on-site.
6. Monitor vehicle usage and fuel consumption to minimise costs and ensure environmental compliance.
7. Handle supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience in fleet management, ideally within a high-security or regulated environment.
2. Strong understanding of vehicle compliance and maintenance requirements.
3. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work effectively within a secure, high-pressure environment.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
