We are currently looking for a Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Craydon, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: In your capacity as a speech and language therapist for SEMH specialist schools in the Croydon region, you will interact with students aged 11 to 17 years. Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist: Manage your own caseload of schools to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon To be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload. To develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education. To develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy.
