Job summary Henshaws are looking for an InterimDeputy Head of Care and Quality Lead to support the Head of Carein the Continuous Improvement of the quality of care, support and learning support offered Responsible to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external quality assurance agents. Main duties of the job Effectively manage the delivery of a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-lead service for students. Responsible for CQC Monitoring and audits. Take responsibility as agreed with the Head of Care to lead on Safeguarding and Health and Safety matters. Lead the care staff and specialist services to create an inclusive learning environment to enable the students aims of placement to be met both in the college and residences. Please view full job description Person Specification Experience Essential Experience in staff management, supervision, appraisal and a demonstrated ability to develop staff Experience in operating good service user or learner development plans. Experience in managing staff within residential care provision Understanding of the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety/CQC Knowledge of the regulatory framework within which a residential college for people with learning and physical disabilities operates, including the needs of children under 18. Experience of working in a Registered Manager Capacity.
