Role Overview
As a Live Operations Supervisor, you will lead the management of our live operations team, ensuring the smooth execution of delivery operations while providing leadership and guidance to associates. In this supervisory role, you will act as the key point of contact for our drivers, hile leveraging your leadership, problem-solving, and operational expertise.warehouse teams, and delivery service providers, while taking responsibility for overseeing daily operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
You will lead a fast-paced, dynamic team with a focus on delivering world-class service to our end recipients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding start-up while leveraging your leadership, problem-solving, and operational expertise.
Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Live Operations Associates, promoting a positive and productive work environment
* Delivery Operations Management: Ensure all deliveries are executed efficiently, proactively addressing any disruptions
* Driver Communication & Support: Provide real-time guidance and escalate issues to ensure drivers have the necessary resources for smooth deliveries
* Warehouse Coordination: Oversee the alignment between warehouse teams and live operations to ensure timely shipment dispatch
* Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimise operational efficiency
* Crisis Management: Take ownership of escalations and provide leadership in high-pressure situations, ensuring swift and effective solutions are delivered
Requirements
* Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within live operations, logistics, or a similar environment
* Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of dispatch and operational processes, with a focus on optimisation and efficiency
* Excellent Communication Skills: Communicating clearly with teams, drivers, and cross-departmental stakeholders
* Proactive Problem Solver: Skilled at identifying issues and implementing solutions in high-pressure situations
* Performance-oriented: Experience tracking performance metrics and driving continuous improvements
* Thrives in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards in a dynamic, high-volume setting
Please note that this is an in-person role on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern (4 days working, 4 days off to recharge) and each shift is 12 hours.
