An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, versatile and flexible individual to join our service as Team Administrator Assistant for the East Inverness Social Work Teams. You will require to have good organisational skills, be adaptable motivated and versatile with good communication and people skills. Working across two busy Social Work Teams along side a part time Administrative Assistant you will be required to undertake a wide range of varied and interesting tasks. It would be advantages to have evidence of previous administrative skills and an ability to work with different IT systems and processes and work as part of a Team. The right candidate should be able to demonstrate strong core values and principles and apply these to practice, and will have the ability to work as an integral part of the Social Work Teams and on occasions part of a wider supportive integrated team. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work autonomously within the expectations of the role and under the guidance of the Team Manager and Senior Social Workers. This role involves hybrid working within an open office area, and also working at home.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
