As a result of our growing workload, Stantec is seeking to appoint an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water sector team based in either our Cardiff, Exeter, or Bristol offices (with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home- and in-office working).

You will be involved in the whole project life cycle from optioneering through to detailed design and installation. You will also be involved with feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations. There are opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects including in water, wastewater, energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

About You
You will have experience in an Electrical Engineering role, ideally with experience in the Water or related infrastructure sectors. You will either be a Chartered Electrical Engineer or be working towards Chartership.
You will be experienced in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, and reports, and be familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.
You will be able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, as well as providing engineering input to collaborative design outputs such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
