Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialist Services Division for a Part-Time Booking Clerk/Receptionist at the Fertility Clinic (Fertility Exeter) based at Heavitree Hospital. This role would suit someone returning to work, with excellent interpersonal skills, communicating with patients and supporting a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, embryologists and counsellors. To support the needs of the department, proven administrative experience and the ability to use their initiative will be required in order to provide an effective and efficient administration service. The successful candidate will have a flexible attitude, the ability to work well within a team and remain calm under pressure. Experience of working in a busy environment with minimal supervision is essential. Previous hospital IT experience would be desirable. Accuracy and attention to detail in this role is essential and must have the ability to deal with patients undergoing treatment in a sensitive manner. This is a licensed clinic and governed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority.
