Customer Service Administrator Shrewsbury, Shropshire Permanent role Monday Friday (8 am 4.30 pm) Circa £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and prestigious company based in Shrewsbury with a leading reputation in their field. They are now looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join the company. You will be working within the customer service team providing a dedicated resource to work alongside the sales division. You will support them with the sale of the company product to the customer base, medium-large companies across various manufacturing sectors within a geographical area. They have advised that this is a target and task driven role that demands energetic enthusiasm and teamwork. You will be responsible for: Handling queries, orders and fielding incoming telephone calls. Processing Tickets for a wide range of reasons including delivery lead times, quality questions. Processing orders through email, web portal, telephone, stock replenishment. Agreeing lead times, delivery schedules, price discrepancies and stock allocation. Holding sometimes difficult conversations with customers, managing expectations, and dealing with issues sometimes beyond our control. Working with other departments in the business to ensure that stock is available for customer call off orders and scheduled orders. Building orders and consolidating loads to maximise efficiency. Key daily numbers measured include Order lines entered, calls processed, tickets processed, tickets closed and inbox fallout. Attention to detail. High standard of written and verbal communication skills. Good working understanding of Microsoft Office programs including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Basic practical understanding of packaging products, systems and equipment is required. Skills and Experience Team Player The desire and ability to work for the good of the team. The skill set required for the role is trained in-house. Experience in B2B customer service and a trac record of sales growth is a valuable advantage. Pass results in GCSE and A Level land further educational activity is a requirement.
