We are working with an established Machines Manufacturing company based in Luton, UK.
They are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region £28.000 - £32.000 along with excellent employment benefits.
Established in 2001, our Client is the sole UK importer of an extensive range of print finishing and packaging machinery. They are renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality products and outstanding technical support.
Due to continuous growth, the company seeks a Machine Service Engineer to join its dynamic and friendly technical support team.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Onsite & Remote Support: Provide remote and onsite technical service support, including installation, maintenance, and repair of print finishing and packaging machinery.
* Demonstrations & Training: Conduct machinery demonstrations and installations and deliver training to customers and partners, ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer.
* Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software faults with minimal downtime, using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
* Customer Engagement: Build strong customer relationships, delivering a first-class service experience that fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Technical Problem Solving: Engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies, including mechanical hardware, electrical systems, and software-based troubleshooting.
* Parts Management: Effectively manage and control vehicle parts stock, ensuring maximum first-time fixes.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with overseas manufacturers and suppliers during site visits to understand and implement technical action plans.
* Sales & Events Support: Assist the sales team with machine demonstrations at trade shows, customer events, and other promotional activities.
Requirements:

* Relevant technical qualifications (mechanical/ electrical) and an understanding of the print or packaging sector will be preferred.
* Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical faults.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to tow a trailer and hold a clean driving licence.
Desirable Requirements:

* Operational knowledge of print finishing and packaging machinery.
* Experience with network-based remote support and software troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in managing technical issues under pressure while maintaining a customer-first approach.
