Responsibilities Act as Associate Director and Mechanical Discipline Lead, providing leadership and guidance to the mechanical and multi-disciplinary engineering team. Work closely with clients and project team to establish project requirements and prepare schedules, plans and reports as required. Leadership and hands-on monitoring of construction and installation on projects Represent the Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards Hands-on involvement in local office management in conjunction with other members of the senior management team Support clients in tender and procurement of MEP contractors and equipment. Lead on the coordination of engineering services, together with hands on delivery of concept and detailed designs Mentoring and development of younger members of the engineering team Requirements Degree qualified in an appropriate Mechanical or Building Services Engineering discipline Significant experience in specification design for a range of building and project types At least 10 years’ experience as a consulting engineer A sound technical knowledge in mechanical building services engineering Experience in one or multiple of the following sectors: Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Retail, Hotels, Data Centre or Life Sciences.
