Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our Product Development team within Fund Services at Ocorian. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in project delivery, business analysis, and technology-to-business translation. In this role you will get the chance to develop market leading products and solutions for the Funds Services sector. Working across wide range of jurisdictions, stakeholders and services presents a unique opportunity in a very fast paced and dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities
Project Delivery:
* Manage and execute technology-enabled transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
* Track and report progress, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Create clear, compelling, and professional presentations using PowerPoint and Excel to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations.
* Demo products to potential clients or stakeholders.
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
* Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
* Conduct workshops, interviews, and other discovery techniques to understand business processes and challenges.
* Translate complex business needs into actionable technology solutions.
* Develop use cases, process flows, and business models to communicate solutions effectively.
Qualifications Required
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
* Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in technology consulting, business analysis, or project delivery roles.
* Experience or interest in technology in financial sector is beneficial.
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, or similar) is advantageous.
* Basic understanding of digital transformation technologies (e.g., cloud, automation, analytics, data management and mandatory data practices).
