This role will cover two of our Manufacturing sites – Leycroft and Bursom, partnering the Leicester Manufacturing Support Leadership Team and Site Director. We are looking for an experienced HR professional to provide leadership and support to the people agenda across Leicester Manufacturing, covering a population of circa 1100 employees. This involves developing the overall people plans to elevate our employee experience, transform our capability and organisation and drive our talent agenda. The role will also support the entire UK end to end Supply Chain on critical projects. So there is plenty for you to get your teeth into As the HRBP you can expect to partner with key business stakeholder to define the people agenda, working closely with our leadership teams and broader HR colleagues to deliver across key initiatives: Responsibilities Partner with Site Director and respective SC Site Support Teams, defining the people plan and supporting the broader based operational agenda for the sites Lead on key elements of the UK Supply Chain People Plan as part of a multi-year journey Lead the engagement agenda across the sites/teams, driving key people metrics and delivering opportunities to develop employee engagement and performance Coach, support and develop HRBP, Employee Relations and Engagement team direct reports (team of 5) Manage all Core HR people planning processes, including Talent Review, Performance Management process, Organisational Health (OHS) etc Partner on any organisational change impacting people or employee engagement Support and coach managers on employee relations and HR related issues. Partner with UK and Sector HR Partners to develop opportunities for collaboration and shared thinking Support tracking, analytics and talent metric, to monitor ROI, impact of initiatives, and specific targets Champion continuous improvement in the HR space within functions, including but not limited to Culture, Inclusion, Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning and Development. Qualifications Generalist HR experience (or broad experience gained across multiple HR specialist areas) within a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment, ideally with experience of working with unions. Flexibility to support significant manufacturing site with a 24/7 operation Driving cultural change and employee engagement initiatives. Ability to think strategically and develop and manage tactical action plans to achieve business and people goals. Experience communicating, coaching and influencing at all levels Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment. Ability to work autonomously with little supervision and manage competing, multiple priorities and timelines with high integrity. Strong employee and labour relations capability and experience. Experience of programme and project co-ordination, end-to-end project lifecycle. Experience in leveraging HR data to create effective strategies. Results-oriented (demonstrates perseverance and resilience towards reaching objectives, confronts and works to resolve tough issues, exhibits a can-do attitude and a disposition to face significant challenges). Change Management experience (stakeholder mgmt., change impacts, training and communication). Ability to think creatively and bring new ideas to the table (e.g. find and deliver pragmatic solutions within various constraints such as time, resource, policy and practicality). Use of legislation, policies and procedures, as well as leveraging the organisation structure (e.g partnering with HR functional teams/CoE) to get to the best possible solution balancing risks and benefits for both the business and individuals.
