Here at Academics, we are currently seeking to appoint multiple enthusiastic, proactive, and hard-working Learning Support Assistants who are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
The role of a Learning Support Assistant involves fully supporting the daily needs of young people to deliver the highest quality of care to those in SEN settings across the Worksop area.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work holistically as part of a team with education staff to plan, practice, and collect evidence of progress within the extended curriculum.
* Create a positive environment, reflective of the school’s culture and ethos.
* Work with pupils both individually and in small groups to support them in overcoming barriers to learning, providing positive behaviour support, and delivering focused interventions.
* Uphold school policies to protect and safeguard pupils and vulnerable adults to secure their health, safety, and wellbeing.
* Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
