Assistant Civils Preconstruction Manager
Role Overview:
As the Assistant Civils Preconstruction Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the preconstruction phase for the Civils and Infrastructure sector. You will contribute to both public and private sector tenders, including working on Selection Questionnaires. This role requires strong organisational, communication, and technical writing skills to assist in the preparation of high-quality tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the production and submission of tender documents.
* Support the preparation and regular review of the Tender Action Tracker throughout the tender period.
* Collaborate with the Preconstruction Manager to distribute technical information to consultants for independent review.
* Help prepare presentations for tender interviews and internal meetings, including kick-offs and settlements.
* Proofread and edit third-party bid responses to ensure submissions are accurate, consistent, and compelling.
* Work closely with the Operations team to gain feedback on common themes required for Tender Quality Submissions.
* Maintain and organise a library of reusable content, templates, and processes to ensure consistency across submissions.
Skills and Experience Required:
* HNC/Degree qualification, ideally in a relevant discipline.
* Proven experience working across multiple levels of an organization and collaborating with various departments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
* Experience in drafting, reviewing, and submitting proposal responses.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise content.
* A motivated and ambitious individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
