Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Children’s Duty Service (Initial Response Team)

Rate: £45.00
An opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the Children’s Duty Service Initial Response Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will assess the needs of children, young people, and their families using standard assessment tools and within prescribed timescales. You will determine the most appropriate methods of support and referrals to partner agencies where indicated. As part of a rota system, you will act as the ‘Duty Worker,’ undertaking statutory duties and participating in sole and joint child protection enquiries. You will record all work in a timely and accurate manner via an electronic integrated system. Additionally, you will attend and contribute to case conferences, meetings, and court sessions, submitting written reports where required.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
