Description: Are you ready to kickstart your career in accountancy? Join us as an Accounting Apprentice in Xeinadin Southend-On-Sea. In this role, you will embark on a journey of learning and development, gaining hands-on experience while working alongside seasoned professionals.
As an accounting apprentice you will provide support on a wide range of accounting services, including tax returns and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing sole trader, partnership, and Ltd company accounts
2. Preparing corporation tax returns
3. Preparing management accounts
4. Delivering the Xeinadin vision and value
5. Representing the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.
6. Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
7. Collaborating with team members on larger audit assignments and gaining exposure to tax computations.
Key Requirements:
1. Working towards AAT/ACCA desirable
2. A strong desire to pursue further qualifications and become a qualified Accountant.
Additional Requirements:
1. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
2. Attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
3. Proficiency in Excel and basic IT software packages.
