Role Overview: As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with experienced site managers, learning on the job while supporting with the smooth running of projects from start to finish. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for construction and an ambition to progress within the industry. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of site management, from overseeing subcontractors to managing health & safety, quality control, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the daily management of the site, ensuring smooth operations. Support site management in coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor the quality of work to ensure it meets company standards. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to health & safety regulations. Help with progress reporting and assisting in scheduling activities. Develop a clear understanding of all aspects of site management and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of residential projects. What We're Looking For: A genuine interest in construction and site management. A relevant qualification or previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential). Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with subcontractors and internal teams. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a keen willingness to learn. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. A full UK driving license (due to site visits)
