Role Overview:
As the Fundraising Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in our Fundraising and Lottery team, working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Lottery to develop and execute strategies that will significantly boost our income generation. Your focus will be on community fundraising, events, and challenge activities, playing a vital role in advancing our mission of compassionate care to the people of Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver our Community, Events, and Challenge fundraising strategy and team, driving brand awareness and income growth
2. Develop innovative fundraising initiatives, actively researching trends in the charity sector to refresh and enhance our portfolio of activities.
3. Provide hands-on support for supporters running their own fundraising activities, helping them achieve success.
4. Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising and other team leads to implement the Trust's wider Income Generation Strategy.
5. Ensure our fundraising efforts align with the hospice’s vision, values, and goals.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record in community fundraising, event planning, and challenge events. Applications are welcome from candidates Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or experience in Fundraising/Event Management/ Business Development, minimum of 2 years
Ideally you will have:
6. A strong background in fundraising, events planning, and/or business development.
7. Expertise in developing and leading community and challenge fundraising campaigns.
8. Experience in delivering mass participation events with measurable success.
9. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on fundraising opportunities.
10. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
11. A proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the hospice and the fundraising landscape.
