Kitchen Assistant
37 hours per week
Term Time only
£12 per hour from January 2024
Denstone College wish to provide an opportunity for a hardworking and highly motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and
supportive team. Offering a good work life balance, only 2 evenings per week finishing at 7.15pm, and 1 day at the weekend. As a
Kitchen Assistant you will not be required to work Exeat weekends.
If you have a passion for food and want the chance to develop your skills in a kitchen environment, alongside an experience team,
then this would be a great opportunity for you.
Beginning life as a school in 1873, Denstone College is a thriving, co-educational boarding and day school, situated close to
Uttoxeter. It has its own preparatory school, which has recently moved onto the main campus, providing continuous education on the
same site for pupils aged from 4–18. The school is part of the Woodard Corporation, and the Head is in membership of HMC.
The Successful candidate will:
* Support the Chefs with the preparation of food items and service
* Have willingness to undertake relevant training if required
* Have the ability to work a busy service and support in the preparation of meals
* Have the ability to follow instructions
* Have communication skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient customer service
* Recognise the importance of personal responsibility for Health and Safety
