Responsibilities
1. Perform client due diligence for the global institutional book of business.
2. Ensure completed due diligence is policy-compliant.
3. Develop relationships with sales organization responsible for the allocated client book to collaborate on onboardings and ODD.
4. Act as an SME on negative media and PEP reviews, risk assessments and have working knowledge of UK, EU and other EMEA and APAC regulatory requirements.
5. Identification and assessment of potential non-compliance issues. Provide recommendations and collaborate with the areas involved to resolve and implement improved controls.
6. Participation in local and global onboarding related projects.
7. Maintenance of the local procedures and work instructions to ensure alignment with process and regulatory related changes.
8. Collaborate with colleagues in other local offices and Head Quarters to align on the best practices and quality delivery.
Your profile
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the financial services sector.
2. In-depth knowledge of UK and EU AML regulatory frameworks and related legislation. Similar knowledge of regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions in EMEA and APAC will be an advantage.
3. AML or KYC related industry qualifications are a plus.
4. Self-motivation and the ability to work within the regulatory standards while focusing on excellence in customer experience.
5. Strong research and analytical skills.
6. Professional and structured approach working with both clients and internal stakeholders.
7. Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-moving and fast-changing environment.
8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Drive and tenacity in reaching goals.
10. Team player with a proven ability to collaborate effectively and aptitude to engage stakeholders but can also work independently and under pressure.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions for related projects.
