Our client based in Newbury are looking to hire a Data Entry Administrator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
We are looking for a proactive individual to support vital administrative operations within a fast-paced, environmentally focused business. This is your chance to be part of a team making a real difference in sustainable waste management.
Pay:
* £28,000 to £30,000 per annum
Shift:
* 08:00am to 17:00pm
* Monday to Friday
* 42.5 hours per week
Main Duties:
* Liaising with Yard Managers, Line Supervisors, and the Accounts Department to gather essential data, ensuring clear and consistent communication across departments.
* Completing Hazard Waste Documentation in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant.
* Preparing Goods Issue and Goods Receipt documents, supporting effective inventory control and logistical operations.
* Analysing and processing received data to compile detailed reports, including Monthly, Weekly, Quarter-End, and Year-End summaries, to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Monitoring job progress and outturn delivery, ensuring tasks are completed within required timescales and to expected quality standards.
* Undertaking general administrative duties, including information gathering, data entry, and document management, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the team.
* Supporting broader office functions by assisting with day-to-day operations and carrying out ad hoc tasks as required, helping ensure the department meets its objectives.
Requirements:
* GCSE Maths and English minimum.
* 1 year minimum experience in an office environment.
* Good working knowledge of the MS Office.
* Knowledge and previous use of SAP database application system would be an advantage.
* Experience with data entry, retrieval, and manipulation, accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
* Displaying effective communication both orally and in writing.
* Must have the ability to multitask, working on your own initiative with minimal supervision and having a conscientious and thorough approach to work.
* Ability to successfully prioritise, manage time and resources, displaying effective organisational skills.
