As a Credit Controller, you will work as a within a busy accounts department, supporting Liquidline to keep the debt level low, and working to achieve the monthly receipt collection targets. You will be part of a busy, dynamic team reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader. You will be responsible for your own workload, and will proactively help resolve any customer queries regarding payment of invoices in a timely manner. You will have a passion for building relationships across various teams within the business and will be a great team player and will have a desire to learn and improve new processes. The Role - Credit Controller To effectively and proactively chase all customers to ensure prompt payment of outstanding invoices and maximise cash receipts by telephone, letter and email. To keep the ERP system up to date with clear and concise notes regarding debt chasing and customer queries. To chase up and resolve debt balances on platinum accounts, including identifying unallocated cash and working with the sales leger team to resolve refunds of credit balances. To ensure customer accounts placed on stop are monitored, and orders as released as appropriate. To ensure credit limits on the system are appropriate for the customer. To deal with customer queries and questions swiftly. To create customer disputes on the systems, and refer to the relevant senior member of staff where an escalation is needed. To identify and escalate any risks of non-payment accounts to the Finance Director for agreement on next stage in the process. To perform month end reporting duties. To support with other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Team Leader, or Finance Director. What You Will Need In The Role Of Credit Controller Proven experience working within a related finance role. If you have worked as a credit controller previously, this would be an advantage to your application. Experience working with ERP systems. Knowledge of the process from customer order, to cash process. Excellent customer service skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration skills and interpersonal skills IT proficient, with a strong understanding of MS Office products.
