The post holder will: Be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and enquiries Meet, greet and complete a non-clinical triage with all self-presenting patients Book patients into the Adastra and EMIS system Utilise the appointment diaries via Adastra, EMIS and HISS Liaise with a range of health care professionals both internal and external Record information on IT systems, spreadsheets, paper records Telephone answering, faxing, photocopying, scanning Inputting data onto the computer systems, setting up computer diaries Update records Maintain a clean and confidential reception desk Adhere to policies and procedures of the company and keep up to date with any changes Educational To follow safe working practices and to comply at all times with local Safety Policies and Procedures To ensure confidentiality on all matters relating to patients and information obtained during the course of employment and not to release such information to anyone other than those acting in an official capacity as instructed Maintain good relationships with other members of the staff team across all disciplines Contribute to the identification of own training needs and participate in relevant in-service training To attend staff meetings as required The post holder will be expected to attend any necessary courses that provide relevant training.
