About the role:
As Asbestos Team Supervisor, you will assist the Group Compliance Manager and team coordinator in leading asbestos safety management across the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring we meet our operational standards for asbestos safety in your area, providing audits of our performance in other key areas and monitoring activities with our contractors.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Auditing our internal survey team and external licensed contractors.
2. Carrying out audits of our external surveying teams' previously surveyed properties.
3. Providing a point of contact for Enforcing Authorities in your area, acting as a liaison for HSE and other relevant enforcement bodies.
4. Supervising a team of asbestos project surveying professionals responsible for various asbestos safety-related activities.
5. Managing pre-arranged visits to complete regular inspections/tests within common areas and domestic properties.
6. Auditing all completed works and resolving technical queries.
7. In the event of staff sickness, annual leave, or heavy workloads, carrying out Management/R&D surveys, taking emergency samples, and conducting re-inspections of non-domestic properties.

About you:
The successful candidate will have a P402/P405 as a minimum, experience of working within social housing, and good communication and analytical skills. You must be familiar with TEAMS software and proficient in Microsoft 365 software.
