Location: Heathy House, Halifax (with work across additional services in Leeds) Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break) Active Pathways is looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Heathy House, a specialist rehabilitation service supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. This role also covers two additional services in Leeds, offering a varied and dynamic caseload. About the Role: As a Band 6 OT, you'll play a key role in supporting recovery and promoting independence through high-quality interventions. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering tailored one-to-one and group therapies to enhance daily living skills and social inclusion. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to create personalised care plans. Conducting comprehensive assessments to support service users' recovery journeys. Leading the development of OT pathways and contributing to service improvements. Travelling across multiple sites to provide support where needed. Multi-site travel will be ad-hoc and based on the requirements of the service user, ensuring that care is delivered where it is most needed at the time. About the Services: Heathy House is a 10-bed rehabilitation service that provides a step-down residential service. Park Place is a purpose-built supported living development. Millcroft is a purpose-built step-down residential rehabilitation service. What We’re Looking For: A qualified OT with a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration. At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, with 2 years in mental health settings. A proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a varied caseload. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and service users. Experience mentoring students or junior staff is desirable. A driving license and access to a car is required, as multi-site travel will be involved, paid at 45p per mile.
