The post holder will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the Scheduling Department, ensuring the most cost effective and efficient use of resources to meet demand, in line with Trust policies. The post holder will also lead and manage the Scheduling Coordinators.
HYBRID WORKING - required to work ONSITE and REMOTELY.
We are recruiting to 2 posts. Working ONSITE when required will be at one of the Trust's EOCs (Emergency Operations Centre) - Bedford, Chelmsford or Norwich.
Please note that the Scheduling department's hours of operation is between 0600 and 2200, therefore successful post holders appointed will be required to undertake evening and weekend working on a shift rota or set days basis. Unsocial hours payment will be made in line with Agenda for Change, section 2 - use this link for more information on unsocial hours payments: Unsocial hours payments | NHS Employers, To manage the day to day running of the Scheduling Department, ensuring the most cost effective and efficient use of resources to meet demand, in line with Trust policies.
Lead and manage the Scheduling Coordinators.
Ensure the accurate and consistent use of the Workforce Management System to enable the Department to meet its goals and objectives.
Data entry, analysis and information extraction, to present to key managers within the organisation.
Provision of expert guidance, assistance and support to managers and staff in all matters relating to resource planning and scheduling.
