Job Title : Locum Catheterisation laboratory Nurse Banding : 6/7 Location : Middlesbrough Start: 22/01/2025 Duration : 3months Rate : £ 3 5 - £ 45 Working hours : Monday – Friday We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Catheterisation Laboratory professional to join our team in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality cardiac catheterisation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of procedures within the catheterization laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. What will your responsibilities be : As a Locum Catheterisation Laboratory professional, you will be responsible for conducting various cardiac catheterisation procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will work closely with patients to explain procedures, ensure their comfort, and accurately record test results. You will collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care plans. You will also be expected to maintain and calibrate equipment, adhere to clinical protocols, and stay updated with the latest advancements in catheterisation techniques. You will participate in quality assurance activities, assist in the training and supervision of junior staff, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures. You will be involved in patient education, providing information on cardiac health and post-procedure care. You will also manage inventory and supplies for the catheterization lab, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and participate in research and development projects to improve catheterization techniques and patient outcomes. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field HCPC registration Extensive experience in cardiac catheterisation procedures Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional catheterisation techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy in recording test results Why work with Pulse?
