We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Junior Buyer to join our buying team and play an integral role in shaping the future of our menswear collections. Role Overview: As a Junior Buyer/Designer in Menswear, you will be involved in the full cycle of a menswear collection for multiple brands. You will support the senior buying team in curating and sourcing collections, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the product offering aligns with our brand strategy and market trends. You will be involved in all aspects of the buying process, from initial trend research and selection to order management and post-season analysis. Key Responsibilities: Trend Research & Analysis: Assist in researching market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to inform the product selection for menswear collections across multiple brands. Supplier & Vendor Relations: Support in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. Assist in product sourcing and coordinating sample requests for approval. Product Selection: Collaborate with the buying team to select new product ranges for various menswear categories, ensuring alignment with brand identity, target audience, and seasonal trends. Range Building & Planning: Assist in developing product assortments for upcoming collections, ensuring a balanced mix of styles, sizes, and price points to meet consumer demand and sales targets. Order Management: Help manage purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery and addressing any issues related to stock or supply chain. Monitor stock levels to ensure availability. Sales Performance Analysis: Track and analyse sales data to inform future buying decisions. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the buying team. Role Requirements: Education: University degree in Design or related field Experience: Previous experience in a clothing development role is preferred but not essential Fashion Knowledge: A strong interest in fashion and an understanding of current fashion trends, styles, and brands. Organisational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable building relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. IT Skills: Strong IT Skills are essential for this role. Experience in Microsoft Office is essential (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc).
