We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Bedford, working specifically with a Year 6 student. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to a Year 6 student with special educational needs, helping them to engage fully in their learning. Assist in implementing individual learning plans and adapting classroom activities to meet the student’s unique needs. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages confidence and participation. Collaborate closely with the class teacher and other professionals to track progress and share insights. Support the student during lessons, transitions, and social interactions to enhance their overall school experience. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (preferred). A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
