Lead Product Manager – Insurance
£75,000-£80,000 plus excellent benefits including company car or car allowance and private healthcare (Work level 4)
12-month secondment full time

We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to join Co-op Insurance.
In this role you’ll establish and set up new propositions and products within Insurance and make sure they’re delivering against our strategic objectives, ensuring great customer outcomes and generating value. We’ll also look to you to make sure that everything we do internally and externally complies with FCA regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic chance to join the insurance team in a key area of our business.
What you’ll do
1. Provide the strategic direction to the development of products and services across Insurance and run new product initiatives
2. Deliver on consumer outcomes across all products, with an emphasis on making sure we have good customer outcomes and can demonstrate fair value
3. Work collaboratively with the Co-op Insurance leadership team and partners to deliver on strategic objectives
4. Lead and develop a small team in an inclusive way, encouraging collaboration and delivery against agreed strategic objectives
5. Responsible for all product frameworks and first line product regulatory governance within Co-op Insurance and our insurance partners
6. Own and manage one Insurance product
This role would suit people who have
1. A qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute
2. Extensive knowledge of motor insurance
3. A deep understanding of product governance frameworks and insurance regulatory requirements
4. Excellent relationship building skills up to executive level with the ability to influence and challenge effectively
5. Previous experience of leading and motivating a team
