SEN Teacher - Alternative Provision Location: SK8 Area Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Pay: £130 - £180 per day (Dependent on Experience) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Long-term Reeson Education is excited to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher for a fantastic alternative provision in the SK8 area. This full-time, long-term position offers the opportunity to work in a smaller, intimate school setting that provides exceptional support to pupils of all ages with a range of special educational needs (SEN). As a SEN Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering creative, engaging lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of your students. SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities: Teach a small group of pupils with a range of SEN, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties. Plan and deliver bespoke lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners. Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where pupils can thrive. Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons to support individual learning journeys. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals to provide holistic support for students. Promote social, emotional, and academic development, helping students build confidence and independence.SEN Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly in an alternative provision or SEMH setting (desirable but not essential). A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning needs. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils. Passion for working with vulnerable learners and making a real impact on their education and well-being.
