Position Summary
You will be required to develop and gain new business in the Commercial & Industrial sectors for Swegon Service. The purpose of the role is to increase the awareness of the Swegon brand within the UK, increase market share and grow sales of Swegon’s service offering in the Cooling, Smoke & Fire and Ventilation service marketplace.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Assist with fielding telephone inquiries, responding directly or directing them to the appropriate team member.
2. Prepare Maintenance contract documents for new business opportunities.
3. Pursue all maintenance contract leads to improve conversion rate.
4. Work towards and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set.
5. Maintain a level of account management of live and new accounts gained.
6. Arrange client meetings for Area Service Managers with potential customers to identify requirements with the view to gaining orders.
7. Offer technical advice and guidance on customer requirements in order to build and maintain relationships.
8. Attend sales meetings, providing information on new business orders and opportunities.
9. Update the Company database to maintain current and correct information of contacts, addresses and activities.
10. Present key features and benefits of the company, its products & services to obtain opportunities.
11. Ensuring processes are in line with QA work instructions and procedures utilising controlled forms and templates.
12. Update CRM system to keep auditable records.
13. Generate any other reports as requested and other duties as required.
About You
We are looking for an individual who is highly skilled in customer service and administration, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and exceed customer expectations. You will have excellent computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and a proven track record in sales, identifying opportunities, and handling order acknowledgements.
You will be someone with strong oral and written communication skills, and you will maintain a pleasant and effective telephone manner when coordinating with customers. Your ability to manage time effectively and meet business needs while maintaining high standards of service will be crucial. Ideally, you’ll have experience dealing with end users and facilities managers and be able to prepare quotations and follow up on orders.
Experience working within a fast-paced service delivery environment would be a bonus, as would any exposure to managing customer relationships and delivering results in sales. We require applicants to be educated to GCSE/A-Level standard or equivalent, with a good standard of business-related administration qualification or experience. A full, valid UK driving licence is also essential.
