Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities, the Capital Projects Manager is a newly created role responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery through robust project management and governance frameworks. Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, you will play a key role in financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. You will report regularly to key stakeholders, including the RNCM Executive Committee and, when required, the RNCM Board of Governors. By managing resources effectively and fostering collaboration, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a comprehensive programme of work.
Professionally qualified with membership of an appropriate professional body, you will possess a proven track record of successful project management delivering a range of complex capital projects irrespective of construction value. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills combined with excellent planning and organisation skills, including the ability to work flexibly and prioritise effectively, will be key to your success. A good knowledge of sustainability principles is essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Some applicants may require sponsorship from the College and a visa from UKVI to take up the role if successful.
