We are currently recruiting a Geography Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD Secondary School in Handsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Secondary Teacher to teach Geography across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). You will be expected to plan and mark, and this will be for 5 days a week. This job role for a Geography Teacher, you will be expected to: Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) following the National Curriculum. Full classroom responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment. Maintain excellent subject knowledge and apply effective teaching strategies to inspire student learning. Implement excellent behaviour management techniques to create a positive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to department meetings and school activities. Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiation and inclusive teaching practices. Required Skills and Experience for the Geography Teacher Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements. Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a productive classroom environment. Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners.
