Job Description
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
* Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
* Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
* Providing financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.
* Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with financial regulations.
* Liaising with internal and external auditors.
* Identifying opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency.
* Participating in special projects and financial studies as required.
* Providing financial training and support to non-financial staff.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
What's on Offer
* A competitive salary in the range of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum FTE (£22,000 - £24,000 take home).
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays + additional closure days on alternate bank holidays
* Flexibility to work hours over 3-5 days alongside flexible working hours (8-4, 9-5, 10-6)
