Brentford Football Club is a Premier League football club based in the London Borough of Hounslow. The Club was founded in 1889 and has been through a period of great change in the past year. Brentford moved to a new 17,250-seater stadium with outstanding facilities for fans, broadcasters, corporate guests, and the community in the summer of 2020, having previously played at their historic Griffin Park home for 116 years.
Brentford FC is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Social Media Executive with a good understanding of football and digital content. About the role
As Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering engaging content across their social media channels, helping to grow Brentford FC's digital presence worldwide. You will be part of their proficient Content Team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital & Content.
Key Responsibilities
* Publish and distribute content across major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads.
* Collaborate on and implement the club's social media strategy.
* Maintain the club's brand identity, tone of voice, and values across all social channels.
* Contribute innovative content ideas to elevate their digital presence.
* Work closely with the partnerships and marketing teams to develop engaging campaigns.
* Monitor and engage with fans, building a strong and active online community.
* Use data and insights to inform content creation and strategy.
What We're Looking For
* A team-first mindset with a passion for collaboration and creativity.
* Strong experience in social media content creation, including editing and publishing and use of insights.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
* Ability to capture high-quality content using a variety of tools, from phones to professional cameras.
* A good knowledge of football and experience in a fan-facing environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for social media trends.
* Flexibility to work around the football calendar, including weekends and evenings.
* Understanding of marketing principles and fan engagement strategies.
