Our client is a well:know and well:respected business which operates across the UK. They are currently looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to assist in the running of the workshop and management of the team. This role offers an excellent package and progression routes for the future
Role and Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily running of the workshop
* Manage a team of 30 engineers, technicians and fitters
* Provide hands:on assistance to heavy vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspection
* Assist the Engineering Manager with planning, liability and conformance, scheduling and stock management
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential
* You must be an experienced engineer with a background in heavy vehicles
* You must have experience leading a team: this could be in a supervisory or team lead position
* You must be keen to learn and grow with a company, as progression is expected with time:served
Desirable
* Experience maintaining and repairing buses
* Engineering qualifications
