Location: Scape, Wembley Hours : 40 hours per week. Your normal working hours will be on a shift basis to cover the hours of 07:00 and 20:00 Monday to Sunday each week. You will also be part of an on-call rota which will include evenings and weekends. As a Maintenance Operative, your main responsibilities would be: Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance and more) Carry out fault finding and leak investigations Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations Comply with Health and Safety processes and responsibilities Complete reports and paperwork as required Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team of your site and the work carried out Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs Participate in regular, structured on-call system within the UK To be responsible for all keys and locks within the site Undertake painting duties where applicable Your key attributes and skills are: Organised, flexible and dedicated Good communication skills Excellent time keeping A friendly and professional manner Excellent customer service The ability to work under pressure Experience in a similar role Why work with us?
