Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to progress your career and make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector?
We are seeking a skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our Stat Accounts & Consolidation Team in Durham, UK for a period of 8 months.

Position Overview: Senior Management Accountant
In this hybrid role (60% in-office, 40% remote), you'll support our UK & I Asset Management team, delivering financial services for renewable energy assets like onshore wind farms, solar farms, and storage farms.
Responsibilities include:
* Supervising monthly management accounts
* Serving as the primary business partner for client-related issues
* Preparing cashflow forecasts and distribution calculations
* Coordinating the annual budgeting process
* Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Managing bank compliance models and loan covenant calculations
* Reviewing VAT returns and preparing statutory accounts
* Onboarding new projects and improving accounting processes
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong accounting knowledge (IFRS, FRS 102, FRS 101, UK GAAP)
* Excellent technical accounting skills
* Ability to analyse and scrutinize numbers
* Good communication skills and adaptability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Experience and Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years in renewables or a similar industry
* Experience in management accounting within a commercial organization
* Handling multiple entities and clients
* ERP system experience (Agresso/Business World a plus)
