This role is located in Manchester – Hybrid.\n\nOverview:\n\nAs a Full Stack Developer you will be instrumental in designing, developing and maintaining front-end and back-end of complex microservices architecture.\n\nYour expertise in Java Microservice development, NoSQL databases and Angular will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, performance and robustness of the next generation loans processing application.\n\nYou’ll make an impact in the following ways: \n\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional team, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developers\n\nDesign, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable and re-usable\n\nDesign, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java ensuring an exceptional user experience\n\nEnsure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components\n\nUtilize your expertise in NoSQL DB (CosmosDB) to design, develop and optimize data models for seamless storage within a distributed system\n\nCreate RESTFul APIs (gRPC) to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systems\n\nConduct regular code reviews, unit testing, CI and maintain high code quality and reliability\n\nTo be successful, we’re seeking interest in the follow areas: \n\nStrong expertise in Core / Advanced Java and OOP\n\nProficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript\n\nExperience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data or similar frameworks\n\nKnowledge of JIRA, Junit and Apache Kafka are preferred\n\nHands-on experience with NoSQL DB (CosmosDB, MongoDB)\n\nIn-depth knowledge of REST API principles, HTTP protocol\n\nFamiliarity with containerization tools and cloud platforms\n\nSolid grasp of Git, CI/CD, Agile principles\n\nAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
