If so, we invite you to join our Infection Control team as the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) Lead Nurse As the Deputy DIPC and Lead IPC Nurse, you will play a crucial role in leading our Infection Prevention Control initiatives and ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention across our Sites. You will support the DIPC in providing strategic direction and driving continuous improvement in IPC practices. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Inspire and lead the IPC team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation in infection prevention. Policy and Strategy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of IPC policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with national and local standards. Education and Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive IPC training programs for all healthcare staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Surveillance and Reporting: Oversee infection surveillance programs, analyse data, and drive improvement actions. Clinical Expertise and Support: Provide expert IPC advice and support during clinical rounds and infection incidents. Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular IPC audits and develop action plans to address areas for improvement. Risk Management: Identify IPC risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
