Senior Quality Audit Specialist - Mulliner

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Quality Audit Coordinator to join the Mulliner team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship in our bespoke vehicles. You’ll take ownership of production quality processes, audits, inspections and reporting, while acting as the deputy to the Quality Technical Manager.
You’ll be the go-to expert for functional, dimensional, and cosmetic standards across Mulliner products – influencing concept designs and advising project teams to ensure flawless execution from early design to finished vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the full audit plan for current and pre-series Mulliner vehicles
• Run audit feedback sessions and ensure clear ownership of all issues
• Drive resolution, concession, or levelling of all audit findings, escalating where necessary
• Support early design reviews with expert guidance to avoid quality issues before release
• Provide Car 0 Audit approval and audit pre-series properties for release readiness
• Present key audit findings and progress at senior Mulliner TopE reviews
• Deliver feedback to design and production teams to support continual improvement
• Maintain and manage reporting systems for all audit data and ensure consistent communication across teams
• Carry out vehicle and product audits throughout build, shakedown and pre-sale phases
• Validate reworks and repairs meet required standards before sign-off
• Conduct receiving inspections on parts, assemblies and vehicles from both internal teams and external suppliers
• Lead the rejection process for non-compliant parts, ensuring rapid replacements
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong experience in vehicle quality audits, inspections or a similar quality-focused role
• Technical understanding of vehicle production processes, standards, and audit requirements
• Confident influencing cross-functional teams, especially at early design stages
• Clear, structured communication style – comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Flexibility to travel to suppliers across the UK and EU as needed
