I am looking for a support from a Personal Assistant to help me with supported activities. I am very high energy and need someone who would match my pace an enthusiasm. I love being out and about in parks, swimming and doing outdoor activities. I also like going to McDonal’s. I have very keen interest in Jack and Beanstalk and often like to base imaginative plan and tell stories based on this story. I can become overwhelmed quickly in unfamiliar and busy environments and if I am anxious or bored, I may try to run away. This means that you would need to be vigilant and always monitor me and redirect me. When dysregulated due to emotions or overstimulation I may swear or shout in public. You would, therefore, need to be confident in deescalating these situations. Location: Bradwell, NR31 Details: Supported activities in the community. Developing independence. Person specification Essential: Experience with autism and ADHD or being open to learning about how these diagnoses affect children. Patient and understanding. Reliable. Active and energetic. Summary terms and conditions: · The rate of pay for this position is £13 per hour · Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week, exact days and times arranged flexibly ahead of time. · The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks · This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid and Autism.
