09:00 – 17:00
Salary dependant on experience
Main roles and responsibilities:
Develop and manage product specifications using data from manufacturers.
Respond to Food Technical inquiries from clients and the sales team.
Assist with Food Safety responsibilities as needed.
Actively contribute as a member of the internal audit team.
Support the Technical Manager with tasks such as the Allergens, Customer Claims database, Packaging Information, Recipe Development, Raw Material Risk Assessment, and Supplier Approval Database.
Prepare monthly KPIs for the Technical Manager.
Document, investigate, and resolve non-compliance issues.
Assist with external equipment calibration.
Oversee the procurement of chemicals and filters.
Maintain and update the Product Specification Portal.
Provide support to Quality Control personnel when required.
Assist in New Product Development.
Opportunities for further training and career growth within the company.
Conduct internal microbiological testing.
Collect samples for external testing.
Skills and requirements:
Strong knowledge of HACCP, auditing, and food safety.
Ideally, a degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
Essential experience in a Technical or Quality role within the food manufacturing industry.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Dependable and punctual.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Own transport required due to rural location.
