We are looking to recruit an experienced Team Secretary to support the Rotherham Primary Care Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a newly created team, working as part of the Rotherham Community Mental Health Transformation Programme as a Team Secretary.
We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, organised, able to use their own initiative, has strong organisational and prioritisation skills. We are looking for someone who is able maintain confidentiality, be supportive, creative and dynamic.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

The role entails administrative duties, which include, liaising with staff at all levels, booking outpatient appointments, managing referrals, waiting lists, diaries, and minuting meetings.
• • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Primary Care Mental Health Team as appropriate
• Deal with referrals, appointments, correspondence and telephone calls on behalf of the Mental Health Practitioners.
• Diary management for appointments for Mental Health Practitioners
• Record referrals and manage appropriate waiting lists
• To provide administration support to identified work within the pathway as requested
• Prepare and coordinate new staff inductions
• To undertake any duties in line with the Team Manager or service’s requirements as requested.
• Ensuring efficient day to day management of the administration office, including booking meetings, events and meetings.
• Support clinicians minuting multi-disciplinary meetings
• Supporting the Team Manager with requests for data quality information
• Supporting the team as appropriate and applicable.
