The Role and Responsibilities A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Hydro-Test Work Pack Engineer to work on the UK'sLow Carbon Nuclear project based in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a permanent site-based role reporting to the Lead Testing Engineer. You will be responsible for the Hydrostatic test package planning, preparation and development on site. Other main duties will include; Review client procedures and specification to ensure work packages are compliant Prepare method statements and procedures for the execution of hydrostatic testing Defining testing boundaries and limits Producing work packages using an electronically and interfacing with client systems Final Release and sign-off of Work packages Manage modifications and changes to work packages Distributes test packages to Inspectors and Line Checkers for site confirmation and verification Fully evaluate client’s management system and protocols for EnerMech to effectively interface and management delivery of hydrotesting services Ensure familiarity with all relevant QA/QC Procedures available via client electronic system Knowledge of applicable codes and standards of piping systems The Requirements To be successful for this position you will hold experience in the following; CITB HS&E Certificate or CCNSG Passport Experience in hydrostatic testing preparation and execution Experience in the use of Electronic Work package development Experienced in understanding process systems and reading P&IDs drawings Experienced in Piping systems on major construction projects environments from fabrication through to final acceptance Understanding and application of ISO 9001 & other quality standards Knowledge of relevant industry standards applicable to the contracted scope of work Able to create and implement work methods and procedures related to hydrostatic testing Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office programmes Knowledge of control of welding processes and operations Diversity & Inclusion EnerMech is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive organisation.
