Salary: £52,000 per annum

Description
Lead and manage the Facilities team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of all campus facilities, including buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
Develop and implement facilities management strategies, ensuring they align with the institution's objectives and research needs.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure the effective use of space, equipment, and resources.
Manage budgets, procurement, and contracts related to facilities management services.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Address any day-to-day facilities issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure facilities support the institution's long-term strategic goals.
Profile
Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a research or academic setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and building maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
